Error Code 2123-1502 on Nintendo Switch? Fix it Here

This error is mostly caused due to connection instabilities and getting around these can easily fix it completely.

Before You Start:

It is a temporary network issue that might be rectified by simply tweaking the Airplane Mode settings of the switch. Proceed to the “System Settings” and look for the “Flight Mode” option. Click on the “Enable” option and wait for a couple of minutes before disabling it again.

If the issue still persists then you can simply press and hold the “Power” button for some time so that the switch is turned “Off”. Now, press the power button again so that the it is turned “ON” again and initiate the downloading process.

Solution 1: Attempt the Download Again

  6. Restart the Nintendo Switch and check if the error 2123-1502 still exists or not.

Solution 5: Alter the MTU Size of the Switch

The maximum transmission unit (MTU) is the greatest size of the data frame that can be sent over the network and the current size of MTU might result in the error code 2123-1502 so alter the MTU size of the switch by following the steps below:

  1. Click on the System settings and afterwards choose the “Internet” option.
  2.  Now, click on the Internet settings and choose your network connection. Open the Change Settings menu and hit the “MTU” button.

  3. Note that the default value of MTU is set to “1400” hence change it to “1500” or “1600” and check if the Error Code 2123-1502 has been resolved on your Nintendo Switch.

Solution 6: Disable the Sleep Mode

  1. Turn “ON” your router and unplug all the cables excluding the Power cable, locate the “Reset” button at the back of your router (It will be a small hole with the reset button inside).

  3. Release the button once the led flashes, now wait for the router to connect and access it using the credentials on the back of your router.
  4. Next, go through the “Setup wizard” and setup up your router.
  5. Check to see if doing so fixes the error code 2123-1502 Nintendo switch.

Solution 8: Re-Add the Wi-Fi Connection

The Internet glitches can be resolved by first eliminating and then re-adding the Wi-Fi connection of the Nintendo Switch:
