Fixing the 4E Error Code on Samsung Washer

Solution 1: Monitor the water Speed At the Main Valve

Solution 4: Inspect The Mesh Filter Of The Water Hose

The filthy mesh filter can be the main reason behind the occurrence of the samsung washer 4e code. It should be cleaned twice a year and for doing it so consider the steps indexed below:

  1. Power off the washer by unplugging the switch from the socket.
  2. Rotate the washer to access the filter that is located at its backside.
  3. Locate the filter, it is present between the junction of the water hose and the washer’s body.
  4. Turn off the water supply to the hose and lose the hose by rotating it counterclockwise.
  5. Take the filter out and remove the mesh from the filter.
  6. If the filter is dirty, clean it with a solution of citric acid or any other cleaning agent.
  7. Leave the mesh in that solution for an hour or more and after some time put the mesh back in and re-assemble the washer.
  8. Power on the washer by plugging the switchback into the socket and check whether the error is still present or not.

Solution 5: Scan The Pipe that comprises of Water Level Sensor

The water level sensor pipe might be bent and it fails to detect the level of water even if the water from the washer is overflowing. Due to this problem, the error can be triggered and it is suggested to examine the pipe carefully by performing the steps stated below:

  1. Power off the washer by unplugging the switch from the socket.
  2. Remove the top cover and locate the water level sensor.
  3. Once found take the sensor out by rotating it Counterclockwise.
  4. Inspect the pipe and look out for any bends in it that may be causing this error.
  5. Free the pipe from any sort of bends by turning it and keep on rotating it until it is free from bends.
  6. Put the water level sensor back inside the washer and then place the top cover back.
  7. Power on the washer by plugging the switchback into the socket and hopefully the error would have been removed by now.
